Should people have an alternate identity online? In my point of view people should have an alternate identity online depending on what they use it for. For example lets say that a person has an account on Face book, I would reconsider adding all your information for the fact that Face book is a very popular social network that displays a persons information to the point that anyone can see it regardless of whether they are your friends or not. In other cases like when you create an email account that you will be using to look at your balance in your bank account, since it is something extremely delicate I would consider adding real information since a person could be accused of fraud if you add fake information. Should we behave online the same way we interact with people offline? This question is very simple, "If You Wouldn't Do It In Person, Then You Best Not Do It Online!" especially when it comes to bullying or disrespecting others. If we are online, are we responsible for our own actions and behaviors? Yes everyone is responsible for their actions online, if someone does something using your name or your accounts, you are still responsible for that, you shouldn't have given Anyone your account in the first place! That way there wouldn't have been any misunderstandings.
